Configuring Legal Intake: Set Up Your Intake Form
Build an intake form that asks exactly the right questions, in about five minutes. See Intake Routing, Conditional Logic and Deflections in action.
An intake form that asks for too little sends you back to the requester for the basics. One that asks for too much never gets finished. This video shows how to build one that asks exactly what your team needs, in about five minutes.
Jodie walks through building your Intake Forms: dragging in matter fields, contract fields and Custom Fields, renaming each question so it makes sense to the business rather than to Legal, and reordering it into a flow that reads naturally. You can add Conditional Logic so questions only appear when they're relevant, and attach templates that auto-complete a document with AutoDocs.
You'll also set Intake Routing so a contract over a million dollars lands with the right people, and see Deflections, which quietly handle the requests that don't need Legal's time, like pointing a sub-$5,000 request to a policy, while still keeping a record.
