Intake & Triage: Route Every Request the Right Way
A routed request becomes a Matter and a linked Contract Record in one click. See how the legal team triages and assigns intake in Xakia.
On the legal team side, intake usually means someone reads an email, works out who should handle it, retypes it all into a system, and then remembers to tell the requester it's in hand. This video shows how little of that you actually have to do in Xakia.
Jodie starts on the home screen, where unassigned requests are waiting, both the ones routed straight to you and the ones sitting with the wider team. Open a request and the Matter and/or Contract Record is already filled in from what the requester submitted, with their details and any extra instructions right at the top.
You review it, change anything that needs changing, and click save once. That creates the Matter, creates the linked Contract Record, and connects the two, while notifications go out automatically to the requester and to whoever's picking it up. Documents come across too, either stored in Xakia or pointed through to SharePoint, NetDocuments or iManage.
