Xakia’s in house legal software pricing has been designed to suit in-house corporate legal departments of all sizes. Xakia has an open, rest API which it utilizes for native integrations with numerous software, including:

Yes, Xakia has an extensive in-built document management solution that allows you to work directly from Outlook, Word or Gmail to send, receive and file emails and documents. 

Our extensive search capabilities allow you to put your finger on the document or email you need in just seconds.

Alternatively Xakia can integrate with your existing document management software, including SharePoint, NetDocuments or iManage.

 

Using the Xakia matter management software

If you are an Admin, you will need to configure your system. We can assist with this, but it should take you as little as 30 minutes to be ready to start adding legal matters.

Once your system is configured, the best place to start is to add a 'matter' (also known as a file or case).

Click the ‘+ New Matter’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen, complete the mandatory fields about who, what, when and why of your matter, and click ‘Save’.

Your work can be displayed and managed on the Card View or Matters List, and legal analytics can be interactively displayed on the Dashboards.

We highly recommend joining our monthly user training webinars for tips and tricks to using Xakia, but feel free to reach out to the Xakia team at any time for assistance.

If you are logged into the Xakia matter management system, you can click the ‘?’ in the top right-hand corner of your screen to access online support materials.

Ongoing support is available directly with your Xakia Consultant, or via the Support Team. We also offer monthly refresher training webinars for all existing users and a quarterly check-in to ensure you are getting maximum value of the Xakia legal matter software.

Whatever the system you are moving from - whether excel or another matter management system - your data and documents can be easily imported into Xakia, using our standard templates and processes. We would be happy to assist you with this.

We don't lock your data in - we make it our business to provide you with a beautiful and simple cloud based legal software you love using... but if you choose to cancel your subscription, matter data captured in Xakia can be exported at any time (subject to individual user permissions).

Xakia has a standard set of fields captured for each piece of work which take about 30 seconds to complete, or instantly if you use Xakia templates.

If you need to capture custom fields, this can be done quickly and easily, included at different points in the matter process (at legal request, matter, completion, or for dispute or contract specific information).

Note: we do caution clients against too much data – less data, captured more often is most effective.

Xakia has over 25 standard legal analytics reports, which are available directly from your Xakia matter management system. Simply select a report, apply filters such as team member, client, dates or type of work and click 'Run'.

Reports are available in PDF or Excel. Custom reports can be built in Word, Excel, PDF or PowerPoint format.

Xakia has over 25 off-the-shelf reports and the ability to filter those reports to include the work of different managers, team members, clients, matter types, dates and more.

However, if you require something a little more specific to your needs, we would be happy to assist. Once a custom legal report has been created, you can run it at any time using the existing filters. Get in touch with us for more information.

Yes, absolutely! You can determine the level of access a user has in Xakia. You can restrict their access to:

  • All matters including confidential
  • Group matters only
