How much does it cost?

Xakia’s online legal workspace pricing has been designed to suit in-house legal teams of all sizes. It can scale appropriately with the number of lawyers in your in-house legal team, which makes it accessible to teams of just 1-2 lawyers, all the way through to large teams of 2,000 with multiple sub-teams and reporting lines.

Our affordable subscription plan consists of only a simple monthly per user charge.

Am I locked into a contract once I sign up for a plan?

How secure is my data?

What integrations are available with Xakia?

Xakia has an open, rest API which it utilizes for native integrations with numerous software, including:

  • Document Management: NetDocuments, iManage and SharePoint
  • eBilling: Brightflag
  • Email: Outlook, Gmail
  • Automation: Checkbox, Josef, Ironclad and LinkSquares
  • Authentication: Azure Active Directory, Okta, SCIM and ADFS

Using the Xakia platform

I'm new to Xakia, where do I start?

If you are an Admin, you will need to configure your system. We can assist with this, but it should take you as little as 30 minutes to be ready to start adding matters.

Once your system is configured, the best place to start is to add a 'matter' (also known as a file or case).

Click the ‘+’ button in the top right-hand corner of your screen, complete the mandatory fields about who, what, when and why of your matter, and click ‘Save’.

Your work can be displayed and managed on the Card View or Matters List, and legal analytics can be interactively displayed on the Dashboards.

We highly recommend joining our monthly user training webinars for tips and tricks to using Xakia, but feel free to reach out to the Xakia team at any time for assistance.

How do I contact support?

If you are logged into the Xakia legal workspace, you can click the ‘?’ in the top right-hand corner of your screen to access online support materials.

Alternatively, you can email support@xakiatech.com at any time to be connected with our Support Team.

Ongoing support is available directly with your Xakia Consultant, or via the Support Team. We also offer monthly refresher training webinars for all existing users and a quarterly check-in to ensure you are getting maximum value of the Xakia online legal workspace.

Can I import and export data?

Whatever the system you are moving from - whether excel or another matter management system - your data and documents can be easily imported into Xakia, using our standard templates and processes. We would be happy to assist you with this.

We don't lock your data in - we make it our business to provide you with a beautiful online legal workspace you love using... but if you choose to cancel your subscription, matter data captured in Xakia can be exported at any time (subject to individual user permissions).

Can we tailor our Xakia platform?

Xakia has a standard set of fields captured for each piece of work which take about 30 seconds to complete, or instantly if you use Xakia templates.

If you need to capture custom fields, this can be done quickly and easily, included at different points in the matter process (at legal request, matter, completion, or for dispute or contract specific information).

Note: we do caution clients against too much data – less data, captured more often is most effective.

How do I generate reports?

Xakia has over 25 standard legal analytics reports, which are available directly from your Xakia platform. Simply select a report, apply filters such as team member, client, dates or type of work and click 'Run'.

Reports are available in PDF or Excel. Custom reports can be built in Word, Excel, PDF or PowerPoint format.

Can I generate custom reports?

Xakia has over 25 off-the-shelf reports and the ability to filter those reports to include the work of different managers, team members, clients, matter types, dates and more.

However, if you require something a little more specific to your needs, we would be happy to assist. Once a custom report has been created, you can run it at any time using the existing filters. Get in touch with us for more information.
